Compounding is a process using modern and innovative technologies to produce medications that are not commercially available. These products are custom made for your special needs, as determined by your physician. An example of a compounded prescription is progesterone suppositories.
A compounding pharmacy solves problems related to medicines that have unpleasant taste (through our Flavor Rx service), strengths that are not commercially available, or for greater ease to administer to the patient.
